Good amount of ice cream per scoop and great flavors to choose from. We tried a double scoop with the hojicha (light) and Mr Universal. The line was out the door when we went on a Saturday afternoon too which is a good sign that this place is pretty good.

Just had the condensed strawberry and matcha flavors and both tasted creamy and delicious, even better together! My favorite kind of ice cream. Got myself a pint and it's hard to stop. It's so (dangerously) good!!! Haha

Updating to include more photos! Even after 2 years, this is still my favorite ice cream spot in the South Bay! We got the white chocolate pistachio (new fav), strawberry condensed milk, and malted cookies and cream. Every flavor they offer is amazing so you cant go wrong! Great service as always! And I love how they promote local artists inside too. Follow their Instagram to see seasonal deals. This month, they offered $5 medium scoops on Tuesdays. Such a good deal! You can get 2 flavors in one medium cup.

We stopped by Kansha Creamery in Torrance on a Saturday afternoon, and we're already counting down the days until our next visit! There was a short line when we arrived, but it moved fast since they don't offer samples--which we didn't mind one bit. It was just one worker behind the counter, but she was incredibly pleasant and handled everything with a smile, making the whole experience a delight. The prices here are unbeatable--way cheaper than other ice cream spots, especially for the quality you're getting. The flavors are so decadent yet not as sweet as what you'd find elsewhere, which makes them absolutely delicious and unique. They've got an amazing lineup: classic vanilla, vibrant matcha, earthy hojicha kinako, luxurious white chocolate pistachio, and the indulgent Mr. Universal (a caramel-oatmeal cookie dream), plus staples like chocolate, strawberry, and salted caramel. We went with the white chocolate pistachio, and it was one of the best scoops we've ever had--rich, balanced, and totally unforgettable. A quick heads-up: seating inside is limited, and the parking lot is small, so plan ahead. That aside, Kansha Creamery is an absolute gem--we'd highly recommend it to anyone craving incredible ice cream at a fantastic price!

New numba' one gunna', numba' one stunna'! Didn't know Western Avenue brought it this hard, but after visiting Kansha, my definition has been redefined. Both the space as well as the ice cream is extraordinary, simplistic yet refined. Located in a Japanese strip mall in unbecoming Torrance, like most things that are good, it goes undetected until you try it. And try Kansha, you must!

Small ice cream shop located in a strip mall with a Japanese aesthetic. I drove by this location plenty of times, but didn't know it was here. I kind of stumbled upon it because I was looking for something sweet to bring a gathering later on in the day (but ended up getting a treat for myself here instead haha) So glad I found it. The service is really friendly and they specialize in seasonal flavors. There's not a lot of selection which is a great thing. To me it just means that the flavors that they do have are really good and you can get creative with the combinations. I got two scoops because that's the only way you could mix the flavors. And ended up doing the Matcha and strawberry combo. Their ice cream is so good and creamy. Lots of flavor as well. A really big fan of this place. The parking lot could be a little tight, but it's not really hard to find parking and if the lot is full, there's some parking along the street just right outside.

Absolutely delicious, perfectly textured ice cream that's not too sweet and have well executed Asian fusion flavors. With some of the artisanal ice cream shops I've been to, the flavors sound good but when you try them they aren't balanced or way too sweet. Kansha executes all flavors I've had amazingly and I've also heard they're run by a family who supports local charities which is amazing. Only thing is that there aren't any samples or half scoops so you have to go with your craving and gut feeling at the moment but you really can't go wrong with any of the flavors. I went with a group and tried: Hojicha, Matcha, Mr universe, cookies and cream, and berry. All were great, we'll be back!

Definitely top notch ice cream. I didn't know anything about this place and just wandered in since there were so many people hanging out. Their ice cream tastes creamier (?) without tasting too rich or heavy and it is definitely not too sweet. I feel like they use special milk or something. I've tried their strawberry, houjicha kinako, cookies and cream and the Mr Universal (their most popular). I'd say my least favorite was the houjicha kinako, which I was bummed about because I love houjicha soft serve ice creams I've had in the past. BUT everything else tasted great and this is the only place I will go out of my way when I have an ice cream craving. Yummy.

The matcha reminds me of a higher quality more textured Trader Joe's matcha ice cream, with more matcha flavor. Mr. Universal (caramel and oatmeal cookie chunks) was phenomenal, both flavors meshed well together. Service was really quick and portions are pretty generous. Ambience is super casual, seating for maybe 10-12 people inside. They have a parking lot shared with several businesses and street parking was easy.

Mr. Universal. Get it, you won't regret it! Love this asian flavored inspired ice cream shop! The store is very cute with a clean aesthetic, and a couple of seating options inside. Staff have always been very welcoming and allow me to try multiple flavors. While I look forward to getting scoops of their new flavors everytime I go, I never forget to take a pint of Mr. Universal to go as well. The flavors are light and not overly sweet, and generally all pair well together if you get multiple scoops! Flavors tend to sell out quickly each day, so try not to wait to go at the end of the day because they may have odd hours if things are already sold out.
